A world so busy is called to take a breath and just stop. Stop running, stop working, stop socialising, stop living a hectic life full of responsibilities and “to do” lists. How abnormal is that a pause in this kind of life is making us feel lost? Feeling sad and frustrated. Feeling out of order. We are called to take a rest and just breathe but its not enough. After all we are not satisfied with just “enough”. We want more and that’s okay.
You are free to feel however you want. You can complain for being stuck inside and after all this pass you are still free to complain for being stuck outside.
This “prison” was not our choice. That’s why we feel so out of order, demotivated and frustrated. But take a minute and think. Would you be able to create this “prison” by yourself? Would you be able to take some time for your mind, for your soul and body to rest? You’ve been asking for a break for such a long time and now it’s the time to grab this chance and make the most of it.
Not because you are forced to do so but for your own sanity and health. You needed a break and you were given one. You don’t know when this break will be over as there is no expiry date on it yet. Meaning that you don’t have time to complain and sulk for being indoors with no social life. We don’t know when this will end and we might not have enough time to enjoy every aspect of this “prison”. And once this is over there is no going back.
You will be asked to run again, work, socialise and create more long “to do” lists. You will be thrown back in your hectic and outgoing life with no warning. After all you asked for it.
